Draft budget of the Prime Minister’s Office for 2011

The draft budget of the Prime Minister’s Office for 2011 is EUR 80,614,000.

In addition to its own operating expenses, the draft budget of the Prime Minister’s Office covers the salary expenses of ministers and special advisers, EUR 5,045,000, and the operating expenses of the Office of the Chancellor of Justice, EUR 3,130,000.

Subsidies to political parties are to total EUR 36 million. EUR 17,910,000 of the appropriation is intended for the purpose of supporting the parties’ political activities. A total of 12% of this amount will be directed towards the support of women’s political activities and another 12% towards the support of district organisations. A further EUR 17,910,000 of the appropriation will be targeted to supporting the parties’ communications.

The Ownership Steering Department at the Prime Minister's Office is to receive an appropriation of EUR 2.7 million to cover the expenses brought about by the State’s ownership and corporate restructurings and the State’s sales of shares, and related ownership steering activities.
